Harada Eugene, born October 9, 1977, in Los Angeles, California, is a Japanese actor and film editor. He is the eldest son of the film director Harada Masato and Fukuda Mizuho, a journalist. He frequently appeared in the projects directed by his father, serving either as a cast member or an editor.
As an editor, Eugene has won the Japan Academy Film Prize four times with Climber’s High (2008); Chronicles of My Mother (2012); The Emperor in August (2015); and Sekigahara (2017).
