Fujita Sokyu is a Japanese actor born in Tsuyama City, Okayama Prefecture, who belongs to the theater group Yen. He graduated from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Department of Russian Language.
In 1973, after graduating from college, he became a research student at the theater company Un. In 1976, he was selected to star in the performance “Pericries” while being a research student. He was promoted to a full member of Yen in 1977. Since then, he has appeared in many movies and TV dramas as well as performances by the theater group Yen.
