Du Liang is a Chinese novelist and screenwriter.
Born in a family of intellectuals, when he was young Du Liang joined the army. After coming back to Beijing, he worked as a teacher, civil servant, manager and head of a petroleum technology research institute.
Currently, he works as an independent writer.
