Thomas and David are cousins who run a fast food van in Barcelona. The food is delivered by Thomas, who rushes around the square on a skateboard. Moby, is a bumbling private detective, hired to find a missing heiress, only to discover that she is Sylvia, the pickpocket whom Thomas and David are helping by giving her shelter in their apartment.
When a mysterious gang kidnaps Sylvia, the bickering Thomas, David andMoby (yes, as in the whale) join together to save her.
~~ Wheels on Meals is considered a classic for several reasons, chief among them are the extraordinary stunts and the incredible fight between Jackie Chan and Benny Urquidez, a legendary and undefeated American mixed martial-arts fighter.
This film spawned the Spartan X franchise. In 1984, it was adapted into a hit Japanese beat ’em up video game, Spartan X (released as Kung-Fu Master internationally). There was also a sequel video game, Spartan X 2, and a Spartan X comic book series.
