Daughter-in-Law’s Tears (2007)

Lin Wan Ru’s family owns a popular bean store and their lives are simple, yet content. This happy harmony is forever shattered after Mr. Lin serves as his cousin’s credit guarantor and ends up becoming the main target of debt collectors. The Lins lose everything, from their store to their home. In order to pay back the debt, Wan Ru starts working at Ji Xiang Brothel. Gao Ming Hui, the wealthy andkind-hearted young master of a successful wood company, sympathizes with Wan Ru and falls in love with her. Despite his mother’s strong opposition, Ming Hui saves Wan Ru from the brothel life and decides to marry her.
